Sunday Afternoon (August 2014)

After church this morning, I took some friends of mine to one of my new favorite places here by my school, Kankakee River State Park.  We got some Panera to-go and found a cute spot by the river to eat lunch at. Then we walked along the river and found this cool cliff to sit on and watched some little kids jump off.

Petting Zoo at Block Party (August 2014)

Tonight my friends and I went out to the annual Block Party at school. There was a freaking petting zoo guys. A petting zoo. It was SO much fun. I am loving life out here in the midwest. College is very different and weird, but I love it. Tomorrow afternoon, I am going on a picnic with some friends to this local state park and then hopefully Sunday we are taking the train into the city after church.

Julia (August 2014)

My beautiful best friend,

Spontaneous adventures with you never fail to shed some joy on my life. I could fill an entire library with all of the memories we share together. Moving fourteen hours away from you tomorrow morning will not be an easy thing to do. Lots of late night Skype sessions are definitely in our future. You are the greatest friend I have ever had. I love you so much.

Cait (August 2014) Pt. 1

Last night I got to hang out and shoot with my girlie Cait for the last time before I leave for school this Friday. Cait and I have only been friends since this past May when we met up through Instagram and I already consider her one of my closest friends. I am very thankful for our friendship. I hope to have a visit from you out to Chicago this fall, will miss you greatly!
